The meeting was held at Tooele Army Depot and helps DPG fulfill the federal obligation for government-to-government consultation with federally recognized tribes.
The purpose of the meeting was to discuss resource management concerns, facilitate communication, and strengthen working relationships. Attendees from DPG included Garrison Manager Mr. Christopher Damour, CSM Jessica Cho, and staff from the environmental programs and legal office.
Participating tribal governments included the Confederated Tribes of the Goshute Reservation, Northern Arapaho Tribe, Northwestern Band of the Shoshone Nation, Paiute Indian Tribe of Utah, and Shoshone-Bannock Tribes of the Fort Hall Reservation.
