FORT KNOX, Ky. — Fort Knox motorcycle safety ride organizers have announced the first safety ride of 2025 will happen on May 9.

Fort Knox will conduct its first motorcycle safety ride of the season on May 9, 2025. Riders will travel from the parking lot of Lindsey Golf Course to Owensboro, Kentucky, about 90 miles away.

The ride will start at the parking lot of Lindsey Golf Course at 9 a.m. Riders are asked to arrive prior to the start time for a safety brief and have a risk assessment form completed.

Those who participate will travel together to Owensboro, Kentucky to attend the BBQ and Barrels Festival.

There are two other safety rides planned for the year: July 11 and Sept. 19. For more information, call 502-378-1822.
