FORT KNOX, Ky. — Members from the Fort Knox community and surrounding areas participated in the inaugural Agony and Misery Challenge June 21, 2024, as part of the Family and Morale, Welfare and Recreation’s summer race series.

The run took patrons on a 4-mile route down Misery Hill and up Agony Hill, providing them either a bitter-sweet memory from their days of traversing the hills as a Soldier, or a little insight as to what the Soldiers endured during their everyday lives during basic training at the installation.
