Navy-Marine Corps Relief Society is a private, non-profit, volunteer, service organization, providing interest free loans and grants to meet emergency needs and needs-based scholarship and interest free loans for educational purposes to members of the Naval and Marine Services and eligible family members. Counseling and referral to other community resources are also provided at no fee to assist personnel of the Naval and Marine Corps to achieve financial self sufficiency and find solutions to emergency needs. There is an active involvement of the command structure at the bases where the Society maintains a presence.
