FORT SILL, Okla. -- On-post housing residents will soon have the opportunity to complete the 2022 Department of Defense Tenant Satisfaction Housing Survey. The survey gives feedback to the Army and Corvias to evaluate the current state of the partnership and guide future improvements to housing facilities and residential services.
A Fort Sill resident laughs with Col. Rhett Taylor, Fort Sill Garrison commander, during a Garrison Walking Town Hall. The Garrison Command Team, along with Corvias and Garrison Housing leaders ask residents about any concerns, and once again they are asking for feedback through the Housing Survey.
The survey will be emailed Jan. 11 from ArmyHousingSurvey@CELAssociates.com to all residents who moved in prior to December 8. Residents who did not receive a survey should contact ArmyHousingSurvey@CELAssociates.com with their installation name and address. The Fort Sill Garrison Housing Office and Corvias community offices are also available to assist with any concerns.
The survey takes less than 10 minutes to complete. Questions will assess the residents’ evaluation of their present home, community amenities, resident activities, the community maintenance team and property management team.
“The results we collect from the survey will be instrumental in helping us achieve our goal to provide our residents with the best possible service and quality on-post living,” said Amber McNeil, Operations Director for Corvias. “Previous surveys helped us to identify areas to change and new customer service initiatives were implemented based on the feedback.”
After the 2020 survey, Corvias prioritized several projects and implemented new initiatives aimed at improving service to families. To improve safety and convenience, Corvias installed a 173-foot sidewalk in Buffalo Solider Acres, connecting the north end of Robbins Loop to the South end of Walters Circle. This addition to the area gives families a safe route to walk through the neighborhood.
Another area residents indicated they would like to see improvement was the skill level of maintenance technicians. As a result, Corvias implemented a robust maintenance training plan in 2021. By teaming up with national product vendors as well as local trades contractors, technicians were able to attend virtual training classes on appliance repairs, HVAC systems as well as electrical service codes. Corvias also opened a training facility to hold one-on-one training conducted by nationally recognized vendors and master technicians. These sessions included plumbing, electrical, and carpentry.
The survey is administered by CEL & Associates Inc., an independent, third-party group. All survey answers are strictly confidential, and residents are urged to offer honest responses. Personal data is not tabulated, and the survey does not identify the resident in any way.
Residents of Fort Sill who complete the survey also have the opportunity to win prizes. The third-party survey vendor will hold four drawings throughout the survey period, each for $50 gift cards.
