U.S. Army Corps of Engineers honors national awards winners

WASHINGTON — U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) staff were honored on Nov. 10 at the organization's National Awards Ceremony. Lt. Gen. Scott Spellmon, Commanding General and 55th Chief of Engineers, recognized award recipients at the event held in USACE headquarters in Washington, D.C. and virtually.

The awards included the Lieutenant General Elvin R. "Vald" Heiberg III Engineer of the Year presented to Daria Van Liew, Lieutenant General John W. Morris Civilian of the Year Award presented to Jennifer A. Moyer, and the USACE Researcher of the Year Award presented to Dr. Scott A. Morton.
