FORT KNOX, Ky. – A new wellness philosophy has been established at Fort Knox in an effort to increase readiness and resiliency within the community, and also compile installation support services into one easy to access location.

Along with post health, service and other leaders, Commanding General of U.S. Army Cadet Command and Fort Knox Maj. Gen. Johnny Davis attended the a Fort Knox Senior Commander’s Ready & Resilient Council meeting on Oct. 28, to discuss post health and wellness initiatives and trends and officially sign the proclamation.

“People first is our Army’s top priority, and for good reason,” the proclamation reads. “We have an obligation to stay healthy in all five resiliency dimensions – physical, emotional, spiritual, social and family – to effectively deliver on our Soldier and Army Civilian Corps creeds.”
