Lt. Gen. Paul J. LaCamera, commanding general, XVIII Airborne Corps and senior commander of Fort Bragg, presented country recording artist Hunter Hayes with the traditional symbol of Fort Bragg, an Iron Mike statue Sept. 28. Hayes performed a free concert on the Main Post Parade grounds in front of cheering fans for over 90 minutes. Billboard Magazine has called the singer, song writer and multi-instrumentalist the Leader of Country Music's Youth Revolution. Jake Rose, former frontman for the alternative rock band "New Medicine," opened the concert playing a variety of his country hits. Hayes and Rose performed as part of the U.S. Air Force Reserve "Tour for the Troops."
