LAKEWOOD -- Northbound Interstate 5 near 41st Division Drive near Joint Base Lewis-McChord will be restricted to one lane in the evening through early morning hours Friday and again Saturday.
Lane closures will start each night at 10:30 p.m. All lanes will reopen by 7:30 a.m. April 20, and by 8:30 a.m. April 21. The northbound I-5 on- and off-ramps at 41st Division Drive will also close and reopen at the same time.
The work, which is weather sensitive, is part of the ongoing I-5 widening project along JBLM. Crews will be repaving a section of northbound I-5 to give drivers a smoother ride through the work zone, according the Washington State Department of Transportation.
