Canine Tactical Combat Casualty Care training

JOINT BASE LEWIS-MCCHORD, Wash. -- Maj. Jonathan Pickett, Emergency Medicine, Madigan Army Medical Center; and Maj. Cameron Wolterstorff, ultrasound assistant program director, Madigan Army Medical Center Emergency, perform A-FAST and T-FAST exams with Maj. Suzanne Skerrett, 218th Medical Detachment Veterinary Service Support, and demonstrate the use of a portable ultrasound system on Dec. 20, 2018.

The physicians also received Canine Tactical Combat Casualty Care training and instruction on performing Abdominal and Thoracic Focused Assessment with Sonography for Trauma in deployed settings.
