Military Scholarships for Military Children
Since the inception of the Military Scholarships for Military Children Program in 2001, over $18.1 million in scholarships have been awarded to 10,814 military dependents. A scholarship will be awarded annually at each commissary operated by the Defense Commissary Agency.

Jazz and the Harlem Renaissance
Jazz is often associated with its African-American roots. However, while many are familiar with Jazz, they may not know how this essential music spread through the U.S., and how it became part of the American culture. Stray & Wild Animals
**Do not attempt to pet or feed the dogs
There were 3 wild dogs wandering around GFOQ and the golf course area. They threatened the safety of garrison personnel. The DPW Environmental Division invited service contractors to catch those wild dogs with a tranquilizer gun and captured two wild dogs on 23 January 2019. The captured wild dogs were transported to the Veterinary Clinic in Camp Humphreys. If you see or have questions, please call service order desk at 0530-356-6068.

Health, Wellness, Readiness, and Resiliency Survey
The Community Strengths and Themes Assessment (CSTA) survey is available and ready to receive input on how community health, wellness, readiness and resiliency can be improved for Camp Humphreys and Area III, starting Jan. 1, and continues until March 31, 2019. Current Army Regulation (AR 600-63 and AR 40-5) directs installations to assess communities for health risk factors and needs. A comprehensive CSTA is supported by the Centers for Disease Control's Mobilizing Action through Planning and Partnerships process.
