The 2018 MEDCOM Training Guidance's theme for this year is "Are You Ready to Fight and Win, Now?" The Army team, both soldiers and civilians (and families) must be able to support readiness to accomplish tasks in support of any contingency. Readiness applies to all domains of a person's life: Mind, Body and Spirit. The Army Wellness Centers (AWC) provide standardized primary prevention programs and services designed to build and sustain good health and improve the overall healthy lifestyles of Soldiers, Family Members, Retirees, and DA Civilians (https://phc.amedd.army.mil/topics/healthyliving/al/Pages/ArmyWellnessCenters.aspx)

Building health with AWCs by empowering participants to set their own health goals and achieve them. It addresses lifestyle change in areas that affect both short- and long-term health, engaging people in their "lifespace"-- the places where they live, work, relax and rest.

The link shared is the story of this piece. It is a success story that realized this need both for himself and eventually how it contributes to the collective Army goal of Readiness. It is rightfully titled, "Sweet Success." The subject, Mr. Fredrick Giarette, leveraged the Fort Bragg AWC's services to achieve his goal and sweet success is his and the AWC's reward.
