Capt. Isis Rosario salsas to the beat of her heritage with the Carl R. Darnall Army Medical Center team behind her during the Fort Hood hospital's celebration of National Hispanic Heritage Month Oct. 13. Rosario, a labor and delivery nurse, entertained the employees with song and dance during the festivities that recognize the accomplishments of Hispanic Americans who have helped America thrive and become a land of opportunity. Guest speaker for the event was Geri Schwartzman. The celebration also featured food representing the different Hispanic cultures, as well as other musical entertainers and dancers. Annually, Hispanic Heritage Month is from September 15 until October. 15. This year's theme was "Shaping the Bright future of America."
