ANNISTON ARMY DEPOT, Ala. -- Army Family Team Building empowers individuals, maximizing their personal growth and professional development through specialized training, transforming our community into a resilient stalwart foundation, meeting today's military mission by building "Strong, Knowledgeable and Engaged Individuals and Communities."

The AFTB curriculum consists of three training levels. Modules within each level can be taught as a complete level or as concept blocks focused on a specific need or topic.

MILITARY KNOWLEDGE LEVEL

Participants in the program learn about Army life and how to maneuver through daily challenges like deciphering Army acronyms, learning to utilize community resources, attaining better readiness and understanding the goals and impacts of the Army mission on daily life.

PERSONAL GROWTH AND RESILIENCY LEVEL

This level of the program teaches students personal growth through self-development modules.

The modules teach improvements in communication skills, personal relationships and stress management. Participants also discover team dynamics, problem solving and resolving personal conflicts.

LEADERSHIP DEVELOPMENT LEVEL

Expansion of leadership skills, effective communication techniques and mentorship skills are the focus of this level's training modules.

Course participants also learn about different leadership styles, running an effective meeting, managing group conflict and how to coach and mentor others.

Each directorate may request AFTB classes to assist in career development for their employees during directorate training hours.

AFTB classes are offered at the Army Community Service Building or online at www.myarmyonesource.com.
