HONOLULU -- A six-person surgical team from Tripler Army Medical Center participated in the third mission to Bangladesh April 15-27 in support of the United States Agency for International Development's (USAID) fistula prevention program. The team partnered with Bangladesh surgeries to perform 46 surgeries, administer six lectures attended by more than 330 medical professionals and trained and validated the cystoscopy familiarization of eight surgeons at Kumudini Hospital and the Bangabandhu Shiekh Mujib Medical University in Dhaka.
