HONOLULU, Hawaii (Apr. 20, 2017) - Tripler Army Medical Center conducted a grand opening ceremony April 19 for its newest Pediatric Intensive Care Unit. The improved unit provides spacious patient rooms that provide family integrated care, state of the art technology of bedside booms that are mobile and adjustable, the addition of negative/positive pressure rooms to accommodate patient's needing such precautions, a pediatric decorated environment and a new infant abduction system.
