REDSTONE ARSENAL, Alabama -- The U.S. Army Space and Missile Defense Command/Army Forces Strategic Command's Redstone Arsenal headquarters employees paused Dec. 15 to enjoy some holiday cheer.
The day began with children's activities and a visit with Santa, and then followed up with a program that included an Ugly Sweater Contest, a Salute to Soldiers, the room singing the 12-Days of Christmas, a special children's singing, and holiday decorations winners announced. The program was followed up by a potluck lunch on each floor and employees viewing decorations and visiting.
Lloyd Lynch, husband of Public Affairs team member Anner Lynch, won the Ugly Sweater Contest. Best Traditional Decorations of a Door or Cubicle winners were: first place, G-8; second place, G-6; third place, deputy to the commander's office; and fourth place, Future Warfare Center. Best Mission Decorations of a Door or Cubicle winners were: first place, G-2; second place, Historical Office; and third place, command suite.
