On Veterans Day, our Nation reflects upon those American men and women who have served and secured our freedoms that we so richly enjoy. Veterans Day also highlights the ongoing contributions of Veterans to our nation, often serving as teachers, doctors, engineers, social workers, community leaders, first responders and even elected officials; we have a duty to support them. As we reflect in honoring our Veterans, we must remain vigilant at all times to protect and ensure the safety of our force.

Veterans are some of the most talented, dedicated, and capable professionals in the world. However, personal injuries from physical training, privately owned vehicles (POV) and motorcycle incidents continue to occur. Soldiers put themselves and other members of their unit and families at risk. Avoidable safety incidents must be prevented. As Army Leaders and Soldiers, we must work together relentlessly to reverse this trend before we lose a member of our team.

In preparation for the holiday, I want every TSC Leader and Soldier to review the safety

guidance published in my command safety philosophy. First-line supervisors are key with regard to ensuring off-duty discipline with their Soldier(s). I expect every member of Team TSC: Soldiers, Family members and DA Civilians to do their part in protecting the force.

Have a safe and enjoyable holiday! "Army Safe is Army Strong."

SUSTAIN THE FORCE
