FORT SILL, Okla. -- The Fort Sill Patriot Pet Show, sponsored by the Fort Sill Main Exchange, took place outside the Exchange May 14.

Soldiers from the 902nd Military Working Dog Detachment demonstrated how the K-9s are trained to sniff narcotics and explosives, and to obey attack orders.

The Fort Sill Stray Facility brought several dogs and cats looking for a home, and each seemed to have a set of admirers. Family dogs came all dolled up, or just in their birthday suits, and if they completed the just-for-fun obstacle course they could win a "doggy bag." Patrons could also have their pet's photos taken.
