NOWA DEBA TRAINING AREA, Poland (July 9, 2015) -- A Polish paratrooper from the 16th Airborne Battalion, 6th Airborne Brigade fires an RPG-7D rocket-propelled grenade during allied weapons training with U.S. Soldiers July 9, at Nowa Deba Training Area in southern Poland.

The Soldiers are participating in Atlantic Resolve, an ongoing multinational operation focused on joint training and security cooperation between NATO allies.

Operation Atlantic Resolve is a demonstration of continued U.S. commitment to the collective security of NATO and to enduring peace and stability in the region, in light of Russia's illegal actions in Ukraine.

Army Europe is leading the Operation Atlantic Resolve enhanced land force multinational training and security cooperation activities taking place across Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania, and Poland to ensure multinational interoperability, strengthen relationships among allied militaries, contribute to regional stability and demonstrate U.S. commitment to NATO.

In light of Russia's illegal actions in Ukraine, Operation Atlantic Resolve is a visible demonstration of U.S. commitment to the security of NATO allies.
