Community Emergency Response Team (CERT) is a FREE community-based volunteer program developed by FEMA. Training includes courses in Personal & Family Preparedness; Earthquake Preparation; Disaster Preparedness; Light Search & Rescue; Medical Operations; Medical Triage; Damage Assessment; and Fire Suppression.

Upon completion of the 18-hour class, you will be qualified to participate in CERT volunteer communities anywhere in the U.S. (Future CERT activity participation is encourage but NOT required.)

Who can join? Anyone 18 years or older

Why? CERT training helps everyone to be better prepared to respond to and cope with disasters and emergencies at home, in your neighborhood, at work, and throughout your community.
