ROYAL OAK, Mich. -- April 22 was a big day for U.S. Army TACOM Life Cycle Management Command Maj. Cisco Fuller. He became a father for the second time, was promoted to major and received a service medal all within 24 hours.
Not too shabby!
It all came together very quickly for the team at Beaumont Hospital Mother-Baby Care at Royal Oak, Mich. As soon as they learned of the ceremony set to take place in his wife, Jessica Fuller's, hospital room, they rushed to put together something more formal.
Borrowing chairs from wherever they could, they set up in the Debra Saber Salisbury Memorial Garden at Beaumont Hospital. There, Fuller, with his wife, daughter Kate, newborn son Benjamin, his in-laws and several nieces and nephews, was promoted to major in a ceremony that included TACOM Commanding General Maj. Gen. Gwen Bingham and several members of this company.
Roughly 40 members for the Beaumont team attended the ceremony as well, to show support of their patient, the family and the military. Well done, team!
