ANSBACH, Germany (Dec. 5, 2014) -- Outreach-KONTAKT Franken, U.S. Army Garrison Ansbach's German-American friendship club, celebrated Thanksgiving and the winter holidays with a turkey dinner and potluck Dec. 2 at their normal meeting place.
Col. Christopher M. Benson, USAG Ansbach commander; Capt. Christopher Meserve, USAG Ansbach Headquarters and Headquarters Detachment commander; and Jesse Alcock, American president of the club, carved and served the turkey to the German and American members and guests of the club.
Though the restaurant prepared the turkey, American members of the club brought dishes traditional to Thanksgiving such as green bean casserole, sweet potatoes, cranberry sauce and more.
