CAMP HUMPHREYS, South Korea -- Country music legend Aaron Tippin headlined the 2013 Camp Humphreys Oktoberfest Celebration at Freedom Field here Oct. 26. Prior to Tippin arriving to play for the community, there were plenty of other activities at what has become a yearly Humphreys tradition. The day's events included a Volksmarch, a performance by the Eighth Army Band, the "Running of the Wieners," a keg rolling competition, the Mr. & Mrs. Oktoberfest competition, children's activities and games and food. Following Tippin's concert, Col. Darin S. Conkright, the Humphreys Garrison commander, presented him with a thank you gift for his performance. Then, after one final song and a short break, Tippin signed autographs and visited with everyone that wanted to speak with him.
