FORT BENNING, Ga., (Sept. 25, 2013) -- The Columbus Regional Tennis Association is offering classes for adults and youth alike this October. If interested -- hurry! Deadline is approaching soon. CORTA also offers other opportunities to play. Join a league if you want to play competitively, or try cardio tennis for a good workout. CORTA has something for people of all ages.

Junior and adult tennis lessons

Tennis 101 for Adult Beginner Players

This clinic is a beginner instructional program for adults age 18 and older. Participants will learn basic tennis shots, scorekeeping and more. The registration fee includes nine hours of instruction, a one-year USTA membership, Wilson tennis racquet, and Winter/Spring USTA League fee.

Dates: Mondays and Wednesdays, Oct. 2-23

Time: 6 to 7:30 p.m.

Place: Cooper Creek Tennis Center

Cost: $50

Junior Beginner and Intermediate Tennis Clinics

This clinic is offered to junior players ages 5--18 who would like to learn the basic fundamentals of tennis. Classes will be group lessons and players will be divided by ages and skill abilities.

Dates: Tuesdays and Thursdays, Oct. 1-17

Time: 4:30--5:30 p.m.

Place: Cooper Creek Tennis Center

Cost: $60
