After a year-long design process, Tobyhanna Army Depot has unveiled its new logo.

The logo was designed to reflect the visual assets outlined in the Army Materiel Command's (AMC) Major Subordinate Command (MSC) Co-Branding Guidelines and was developed in conjunction with the CECOM Strategic Communications Working Group.

According to the guidelines, a logo represents the heart and soul of an organization's mission and should communicate an enduring, memorable message across all channels. The depot's new logo incorporates several new elements to convey Tobyhanna's mission and vision:

• The shield shape represents the depot's ties to AMC and helps distinguish the depot from other U.S. military groups

• The warfighter silhouette symbolizes Tobyhanna's mission to provide global communications electronics support for the Joint Warfighter without specifying gender, race or military service

• The tagline "Joint C4ISR Provider" highlights our dedication to ensure the readiness of our Armed Forces through continued C4ISR logistics support

• The colors mimic those found in the AMC logo and include a brushed aluminum background to represent an industrial environment

Many elements from the depot's former logo are still visible including the analog electronic stroke and the phrase "Excellence in Electronics." These features will ensure a smooth transition to the new design and continued recognition into the future.

Based on AMC's guidelines, this will be the depot's only official logo and no directorate- or division-level logos may be used.
