FORT HUACHUCA, Ariz. (NETCOM) - The Chief of staff of the Army announced

yesterday that Maj. Gen. Alan R. Lynn, commanding general, Network

Enterprise Technology Command, has been selected for a new assignment.

According to the Department of Defense, Lynn has been selected for the

position of vice director, Defense Information Systems Agency, at Fort

Meade, Md. A departure date has not been announced.

Lynn assumed command of NETCOM on Aug. 9, 2012.
