Bob Farr, a certified Master Black Belt for Lean Six Sigma, 404th Army Field Support Brigade, instructs students Feb. 28 at the Joint Base Lewis-McChord Washingon State National Guard Readiness Center. This day began a two-week LSS Green Belt training program. It is a collaborative effort co-sponsored by Brig. Gen. The class enrollment includes Air and Army National Guardsmen, 404th AFSB staff, and Army Reservists. The National Guard funded classroom support, reference materials, and travel for Tom Ferguson, the Master Black Belt lead instructor, Army Sustainment Command, Rock Island Arsenal, Ill. The course objective is to assist and guide students who are actively working on projects for Green Belt certification.
