Congressman Bob Gibbs visits Army Office of Business Transformation on Pentagon Stop

On 19 July 2012, Congressman Bob Gibbs (R-OH-18) and his CoS, Ryan Stenger, and MLA Pat Tully visited the Pentagon to receive a Pentagon tour followed by a luncheon with LTG Bill Grisoli (OSA-OBT) to discuss various topics challenging DoD, the Army, and the Corps of Engineers. Congressman Gibbs worked with LTG Grisoli in the past and wanted to reconnect with him in conjunction to a trip to the Pentagon.

The Congressman and his staff wanted to gain a greater depth of knowledge of the Army, so LTG Grisoli spent time explaining Army topics and educated him on the roles and responsibilities the Office of Business Transformation. Rep Gibbs also has a great deal of confidence in LTG Grisoli and appreciated the opportunity to visit him after having developed an initial relationship on a past Congressional Delegation visit. The Congressman and his staff were very appreciative of the Pentagon tour and feel they have a better understanding of Army.

Upon leaving the Pentagon, Rep Gibbs wanted to stop at the Pentagon Memorial. Rep Gibbs was visibly moved with the magnitude of the 9/11 tragedy and spent a good deal of time walking the Memorial and remembering our fallen heroes.
