CAMP HUMPHREYS -- Osan and Camp Casey won post-level basketball championships on March 25 at the Super Gym.

The 2011-12 Korea Wide Post Level Season-ending Men's and Women's Basketball Tournaments were both double elimination format.

The Osan men, which finished second to Casey in the regular season, overcame an eight-point halftime deficit to defeat Casey 98-95 for the title. Osan featured a balanced attack, with four players scoring in double figures.

Camp Humphreys placed third in both the men's and women's tourneys.

Daegu was fourth, Suwon fifth and Yongsan sixth in the men's tournament, with Yongsan last in the women's field.

Larry Boyd paced Osan with 33 points in the finals, with Drew Colen adding 24. Ollie Bradley and Tarrance Garner scored 14 and 11, respectively.

Camp Casey got 31 from Brandon Jenkins, 21 from Christopher Brown, 17 from Nicholas Hittner, and 12 from Antwan Bell.

Osan's path to its second straight post-season title started with a 78-69 win over Humphreys. It followed that with a narrow 93-90 victory over Casey.

Casey rebounded to beat Humphreys 80-65 in the loser's bracket, setting up the championship meeting.

In the opening rounds, Suwon edged Yongsan 79-78 and Humphreys topped Daegu 86-73. Daegu stayed alive with a 79-77 win over Suwon, but its season ended with an 81-76 setback to Humphreys.

In women's action, Casey jumped to a 16-point halftime lead in the final and added the tournament championship to its regular season crown. It defeated Daegu in the championship 78-55 behind 23 points from Kiki Stephens.

"We were nervous, but confident," Stephens said. "We have great team cohesion and we knew what we had to do. We needed to start off running and hit it hard."

Laquinta Newman scored 16 for Casey in the final. Daegu got 14 from Alex Averette and 13 from Tishonda Fleming.

Daegu opened with a win over Yongsan, which bowed out of the tourney with a 66-65 loss to Humphreys.

Daegu's semifinal loss to Casey set up a game with Humphreys, which Daegu beat 61-23 to advance to the final.
