Angola's land forces commanader, Gen. Lucio Amaral, visits U.S. Army Africa in Vicenza, Italy

Gen. Lucio Amaral, commander of the Angolan Land Forces, recently spent three days with U.S. Army Africa (USARAF) Commander, Maj. Gen. David R. Hogg, at Caserma Ederle in Vicenza, Italy. Amaral participated in three briefings, met with 173rd Airborne Brigade Combat Team Soldiers, and made site visits to USARAF's Skills Engagement Center, Contingency Command Post, and the Current Operations Integration Center. The engagement marks the beginning of a growing relationship with Angola, said USARAF's Lt. Col. Ulises Calvo.
