FORT HUACHUCA, Ariz. -- Soldier and member of the Army Team, 1st Sgt. Sandy Silvas from the Scottsdale, Arizona-based 387th Engineering Company reviews a Ground Based Operational Surveillance System, on April 28 as part of his recovery through an Army Warrior Transition Unit. Silvas is participating in a program with the WTU and the U.S. Army Electronic Proving Ground (USAEPG) that allows Soldiers undergoing treatment to work in nearby Army units, with the priority on their care and recovery. USAEPG is the Army's designated developmental tester for command, control, communications, computers, intelligence, surveillance, and reconnaissance (C4ISR) systems.
