Soldiers from the 4-3 Assault Helicopter Battalion from Hunter Army Airfield, Ga., currently attached to the 12th Combat Aviation Brigade here, conducted movement from Storck Barracks in Illeshiem, Germany, to Poland and Romania from April 6-10, in support of Operation Atlantic Resolve.

The "Brawler" Battalion moved Soldiers, helicopters, and equipment to various locations throughout the Baltic and Balkan Regions. The battalion has over 400 Soldiers who will be deployed to locations across Europe in support of Operation Atlantic Resolve.

The battalion operates UH-60M and HH-60M Blackhawk helicopters, the newest model in the Army inventory, on missions ranging from medical evacuation to air assault operations to airborne insertions.

Operation Atlantic Resolve is a demonstration of continued U.S. commitment to the collective security of NATO and to enduring peace and stability in the region, in light of Russia's illegal actions in Ukraine.

Army Europe is leading the Operation Atlantic Resolve enhanced land force multinational training and security cooperation activities taking place across Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania and Poland to ensure multinational interoperability, strengthen relationships among allied militaries, contribute to regional stability and demonstrate U.S. commitment to NATO.
