FORT BRAGG, N.C. -- U.S. Army Forces Command's Army Ground Forces Band will honor Veterans with a performance at Fayetteville State University's J.W. Seabrook Auditorium Nov. 9.
This free, open-to-the-public event will begin at 3 p.m.
The musical celebration honoring the nation's veterans will feature music from the Revolutionary War to the present day.
"In addition to music, this 'Salute to Veterans' program will feature videos and pictures celebrating past generations of Veterans while telling the story of America's heroes," said the band commander, Cpt. Dae Kim.
The 55 Soldiers assigned to The Army Ground Forces Band are among the best musicians in the Army Music Program, and have studied music at some of the nation's finest universities and conservatories.
In addition to being highly trained professional musicians, members of The Army Ground Forces Band maintain the standards demanded by the U.S. Army for all its Soldiers.
