CAMP WALKER, Daegu -- The Life Support Area hosted by the 19th Expeditionary Sustainment Command, 'Team 19' is providing housing services to more than 520 multinational Soldiers across the world in support of Ulchi Freedom Guardian exercise 2014.

UFG is routine and defense-oriented, designed to enhance readiness, protect the region and maintain stability on the Korean peninsula.

Soldiers from 19th ESC providing assistance at the LSA offer the best living services to worldwide military members, while delivering mission flexibility.

"During the UFG there are Soldiers from all services including the Army, Navy, Airforce, Marines and the ROKA," said Sgt. 1st Class Alejandro Oliva, the LSA mayor for UFG '14. "Our primary mission is to house them and ensure they are comfortable by ensuring that our facilities are ready to go."

The 19th ESC is the largest forward-deployed multi-component ESC in the Armyand provides logistical support and helps coordinate the collective efforts of individual subordinate commands and units located throughout the Republic of Korea.
