CAMP HUMPHREYS -- Dominick Nkefor, assigned to Company A, 602nd Aviation Support Battalion and Alex Hernandez, assigned to U.S. Army Confinement Activity--Korea, are the Volunteer Humphreys Heroes for April 2014.
They faithfully serve as Volunteer Recreation Aides at the Humphreys Community Activity Center. The valuable assistance they provide includes issuance of games and equipment to authorized patrons, and scheduling the use of video games billiards tables, and table tennis. Dominick and Alex also assist customers with facility and programs information and referral. They also set up the ballroom for functions or events and perform simple in-house maintenance and repair.
Dominick and Alex said they derive tremendous satisfaction in having a part of improving the quality of life for USAG Humphreys community members, and especially gaining insight into the Korean culture by working alongside the Local National employees in the CAC.
