FORT SHAFTER, Hawaii -- Soldiers and officers from throughout U.S. Army Pacific (USARPAC) gathered to welcome Maj. Gen. Jim Pasquarette as their new chief of staff during a Flying "V" ceremony July 24 at historic Palm Circle, here. Gen. Vincent K. Brooks, USARPAC commanding general, officiated the ceremony and welcomed Pasquarette and his family into the ranks of the USARPAC Ohana.
