YONGSAN GARRISON, Republic of Korea - U.S. Army Garrison-Yongsan Army Community Service is making the call for top community volunteers.

Volunteer of the quarter nomination packets are due to Army Volunteer Corps coordinator June 30. Youth and adult volunteers are eligible for nominations for volunteer service provided during the April through June timeframe.

"Our volunteers put in thousands of hours to help keep our community strong," said Suzanne James, ACS director. "We can never thank them enough, but this is one way to ensure that your deserving volunteers are recognized for their hard work."

Organizations should contact Mary Jernigan, the Army Volunteer Corps coordinator, at 738-7510 for nomination package specifics.

The Garrison holds quarterly volunteer recognition ceremonies. The next one is 1-3 p.m. July 9 at the Community Service Building.
