CAMP CARROLL, Republic of Korea -- The 403rd Army Field Support Battalion-Northeast Asia hosted their Summer Safety Stand Down training session May 10 at Camp Carroll's Warehouse 15. The 403rd AFSBn-NEA Safety Officer, Izial Toles, conducted the training.

The training covered a variety of heat-related summer safety topics. Toles provided instruction on maintaining proper hydration, the effects of energy drinks on dehydration, how to adapt work habits and workloads during peak heat periods, and how to recognize and prevent heat injuries.

Toles also discussed alcohol consumption and its effects on driving and boating.
