Sgt. Sherry E. Futch, a native of Charlotte, N.C., now a human resources

specialist assigned to Headquarters and Headquarters Company, 13th Combat

Sustainment Support Battalion, 593rd Sustainment Brigade, and other Soldiers

recite the Creed of the Non-Commissioned Officer during the battalion's NCO

induction ceremony at Evergreen Chapel, Dec. 9, on Joint Base Lewis-McChord,

Wash. Futch was one of 26 Soldiers to be formally inducted into the corps

of NCOs. Last month, she successfully completed the Warrior Leaders Course

at the Henry H. Lind NCO Academy, and was selected for the Commandant's List

for earning a grade point average in the top 20% of her class during the
