FORT BRAGG, N.C. - Sustainable Fort Bragg and Bragg About Recycling will observe America Recycles Day with a variety of activities to encourage everyone on the installation to reduce, reuse and recycle.
This year, social media contests will encourage interactive participation in the annual recycling campaign.
For the One Bag Challenge, the Fort Bragg community is encouraged to reduce home or office trash to one bag each week by recycling, composting, reusing and participating in other waste reduction activities.
Visit one of our Facebook sites, post a photo of yourself, your Family or your office with your "one bag" and tell us how you achieved this goal. All participants will be entered into a drawing for a Bragg About Recycling prize. The One Bag Challenge ends on Nov. 18.
For the Caught Recycling Contest, post a photo and details of your recycling adventures on one of our Facebook sites. The most creative, unique or innovative recycling method will receive a prize from Bragg About Recycling. The Caught Recycling Contest also ends on Nov. 18.
When posting, please specify which contest you are entering. Participants may enter both contests.
