FORSCOM deputy commanding general addresses Fort Bragg audience

Lt. Gen. Howard B. Bromberg, FORSCOM Deputy Commanding General/Chief of Staff, addressed an audience of 200 military, civic and industry leaders during the keynote luncheon for the Braxton Bragg Chapter of the Association of the United States Army, 15th Annual Conference and Exposition, May 24, 2011, at Fort Bragg, N.C. He spoke about FORSCOM's mission, the current environment of conflict, logistical successes supporting the warfighter, and briefly updated everyone on the relocation of FORSCOM HQ to Fort Bragg. He also discussed Army Force Generation (ARFORGEN), saying one way to describe ARFORGEN is like a conveyor belt. "At the start of the belt, you have units that have just returned from deployment; at the other end, that same unit comes out ready to deploy."
