ABERDEEN PROVING GROUND, Md. -- Army officials recognized civilian employees completing two of the three executive coaching sessions held so far this year at a June 2 ceremony at the Research, Development and Engineering Command headquarters.

"This is a worthwhile program," Executive Deputy to the Commanding General Gary Martin told the gathering. "We appreciate your participation."

Martin said the Army is making great strides in civilian leadership development. He praised the RDECOM instructor, Andrew Kirkpatrick, for taking on the challenge and bringing the program to fruition.

The next class was June 9 and trained civilian leaders in conflict management techniques.
