Monthly Fort Knox retirement ceremony set for Jan. 26

The monthly Fort Knox retirement ceremony will be Friday, Jan. 26 at 3 p.m. in Sadowski Center and hosted by the 63rd Adjutant General of the U.S. Army, Brig. Gen. Gregory Johnson, and the Adjutant General operations sergeant major, Sgt. Maj. Aleesia Trammel.

The public is invited, and the event will also be live streamed on Fort Knox Facebook at https://www.facebook.com/events/218051701222210 (Microsoft Edge, Google Chrome and Firefox web browsers recommended).

The following retirees will be honored during the ceremony:

· Lt. Col. Faith Grzesik, 165th Infantry Brigade, 20 years of service

· Lt. Col. Jason Staraitis, U.S. Army Human Resources Command, 22 years of service

· Garry Elliott, U.S. Army Cadet Command, 43 years of service

· Chief Warrant Officer 3 Jonathan Phares, 157th Infantry Brigade, 22 years of service

· Chief Warrant Officer 3 John Jones, V Corps, 20 years of service

· Chief Warrant Officer 3 Rebecca Ray, 1st Theater Sustainment Command, 20 years of service

· Sgt. Maj. Scott Tate, Fort Knox Garrison Directorate of Emergency Services, 22 years of service

· Master Sgt. Kenny Waters, 409th Brigade Support Battalion, 23 years of service

· Sgt. 1st Class Jair Cranmore, U.S. Army Human Resources Command, 20 years of service

· Sgt. 1st Class Heather Eastridge, U.S. Army Recruiting Command, 20 years of service

· Sgt. 1st Class Juan Mejia, U.S. Army Human Resources Command, 20 years of service

· Sgt. 1st Class Erik Shumake, U.S. Army Recruiting Command, 20 years of service
