How to stay informed during exercises, alerts or closures:

1. Visit the The Garrison Outlook and USAG Italy social media for real-time updates.

4. Get the My Army Post App
5. Enroll in the Alert! program for messages.
6. Tune in to AFN Vicenza radio (105.3 FM)
7. Have questions? Please don’t post about exercises on social media. Ask your supervisor or chain of command.

In the case of emergencies, exercises or any other service disruptions, please refer back to The Garrison Outlook for official information. To check on the status of any service for facility, please use the USAG Italy phone book. If you have concerns about something unusual in our community, please call the Military Police Desk at +39-0444-71-5300

What can you do to keep informed?

• Enroll in ALERT to get community messages in case of emergency. *Sponsors should enroll dependents.
• Save/bookmark USAG Italy’s “Alerts & Closures” page (this page) to refer back when either exercises or real-world issues arise.
• Enroll in STEP, a U.S. State Department program to keep you informed while travelling overseas
• Follow Italian News on The Garrison Outlook stay informed of local issues
• Download My Army Post App MAPA will become a tool to keep you informed about issues on post. Apple or Google
• Review the information on the U.S. Army Garrison Italy homepage about Anti-terrorism and Force Protection
• Enroll in ALERT to get community messages in case of emergency

ℹ Make sure you stay informed about significant events that could affect community members. ⌨️ Sign up now for the Alert: Mass Warning Notification System. The Alert System sends registered users emergency warnings and other critical information, such as hazardous road conditions, reporting delays, exercises and post closures due to severe weather.
