Fort Novosel, Ala.-- Motorcycle riders wearing pink roared across Fort Novosel on Friday, October 13, 2023, during the 6th Annual Breast Cancer Awareness Motorcycle Mentorship Ride.

110th Aviation Brigade sponsored this event, which was organized by Sam Baker, the deputy S3, with assistance from Monteka Freeman, a cancer survivor and director of School Age Services on Fort Novosel.

Certificates of both bravery and memoriam were presented across post, and supporters of all ages came out to honor and recognize cancer survivors and those family members who have lost loved ones to cancer across Fort Novosel.

The motorcycle ride not only brought the community together against cancer, but also allowed experienced motorcyclists to hone their motorcycle safety skills and for newer riders to gain more experience while riding.
