FORT GREGG-ADAMS, Va. — Homefront Players will present “She Loves Me” as its first production in the Theatre Company’s 75th season. This musical opens Sept. 8 and runs weekends through Sept. 24 at the Beaty Theater, Building 4300, 1100 Sustainment Ave.

Performances for “She Loves Me” are Fridays and Saturdays at 8 p.m., and Sundays at 3 p.m. Tickets are $18 (adults) and $8 (youth) 9/8-9/24.

The play is a romantic, witty and effervescent musical comedy with music by Jerry Bock and Sheldon Harnick (Fiddler on the Roof) and book by Joe Masteroff (Cabaret.)

In a 1930s European perfumery, two sales clerks, Amalia and Greg, spar, saving their sweetest words for an anonymous pen pal.

Unbeknownst to them, however, their “dear friend” happens to be each other. Songs include “Vanilla Ice Cream,” “A Trip to the Library” as well as the title song.

The production stars Jenna Jordan and Zachary Fortune as the sparring will-they-or-won’t-they lovers.

Alanna Wilson will return to The Beaty Theater, after a decade of work in NYC, in the role of Ilona, alongside Kenny Holley as Kodaly.

This cast also features Homefront veterans, Dylan Tipton, Mike White and Michael McClain alongside newcomers, Cooper Wyatt and Judd Blake.

They are supported by an ensemble featuring many of your local favorites and new faces.

“She Loves Me” at the Beaty Theater is directed and choreographed by Debra Clinton with Musical Direction by Storm Burks. The creative and production teams include: Todd Schall-Vess (Scenery), Mark Souza (Costumes), Tristan Ketcham (Lighting), John Redling (Sound Design), Pam Connolly (Set Dressing), Kathy Dowling (Stage Manager/Props) and Leah White (Assistant Stage Manager).
