Monthly Fort Knox retirement ceremony set for Aug. 25

The monthly Fort Knox retirement ceremony will be Friday, Aug. 25 at 3 p.m. in Waybur Theater and hosted by the U.S. Army Recruiting Command and Fort Knox commanding general, Maj. Gen. Johnny Davis, and his senior enlisted leader, Command Sgt. Maj. Shade Munday.

The public is invited, and the event will also be live streamed on Fort Knox Facebook at https://www.facebook.com/events/1128741454674391  (Microsoft Edge, Google Chrome and Firefox web browsers recommended).

The following retirees will be honored during the ceremony:

· Robert Burns, U.S. Army Cadet Command, 47 years of combined federal service

· Sgt. Maj. Eugene Breckenridge Jr., U.S. Army Regional Cyber Center, 22 years of service

· Sgt. 1st Class Dennis Edwards, First Army Division East, 22 years of service

· Sgt. 1st Class Andrew Ford, 3rd Medical Recruiting Brigade, 20 years of service

· Sgt. 1st Class Ariel Martinez, 1-410th Brigade Engineer Battalion, 20 years of service
