Employment Support for Transitioning Soldiers
Project Warrior Internship Network was established January 2008 as a partnership between Fort Riley and Junction City, Kansas-based Welcome Home to Heroes Foundation. It is designed to help transitioning Soldiers receive professional training and experience in a potential career field. Interns will have the opportunity to train in a business while they are continuing to earn their normal military pay and surrounded by people who are committed to helping them learn. Internship training participants will increase their prospects for a full-time position as well as networking with the community. For more information visit www.projectwinfortriley.com.
Barton County Community College provides classes for degree credit to military family members at no charge to the service member or their Family.
