Employment Support for Transitioning Soldiers

Project Warrior Internship Network was established January 2008 as a partnership between Fort Riley and Junction City, Kansas-based Welcome Home to Heroes Foundation. It is designed to help transitioning Soldiers receive professional training and experience in a potential career field. Interns will have the opportunity to train in a business while they are continuing to earn their normal military pay and surrounded by people who are committed to helping them learn. Internship training participants will increase their prospects for a full-time position as well as networking with the community.
