BRANDENBURG, Ky. – Volunteers from the Fort Knox Red Cross Warrior Warehouse met with Kentucky state Rep. Nancy Tate in Brandenburg Oct. 12 to deliver a donation of women’s clothing.

The donated clothes will go to residents living at Ciara’s House, a transitional home Tate helped found for women who have previously been incarcerated. Lead volunteer Amy Grimm said everyone at the Red Cross was thankful to have an opportunity to share their success with others in the community.

“We have such an abundance at the Warrior Warehouse, so we wanted to give some of that to another wonderful cause,” said Grimm. “This organization is such a perfect partner.”
